Lee is currently retired and was honorably discharged from the US Navy in 1971 after 7 years of service. He has served on the Green Light Foundation since 2008. Lee also serves on the Wyoming Community Development Committee and is the co-founder/president of the South Godwin Neighborhood Association as well as the Godwin Community Garden. Lee also enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.

Lee resides with his wife Robin in the Wyoming area.
